Made with and exclusively for Complecto, the dynamic platform dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices in the watch industry and enthusiast community, the reimagined limited edition of the Bulova 1973 Jet Star “F” is inspired by an iconic model from the American brand’s impressive history, now equipped with an equally impressive movement.
The new Jet Star is powered by Bulova’s Precisionist movement, a revolutionary 8-jewel quartz mechanism vibrating at a remarkable 262kHz, accurate to 5 seconds per month with increased resistance to temperature changes, and with a sweeping seconds hand.
Borrowing from its historic forebear, the stainless steel case features a striking angular design with broad facets and a domed sapphire crystal. The captivating and dramatic grey dial with dégradé effect is accented by a grey and orange chapter ring, applied hour markers, and a bold orange-tipped seconds hand. Luminescent plots at each hour and luminescent filled hands allow for exceptional legibility in every environment, while a date display sits perfectly at 3 o’clock.
This timepiece is set on a steel multilink bracelet finished with a deployant clasp closure and latched spring bars for easy release. Also included are two additional custom straps; a Bulova black leather strap with orange contrast stitching and a bespoke Delugs charcoal Alcantara strap with light grey contrast stitch and orange rubber lining, both embossed with the Complecto logo.
A testament to the power of collaboration and the celebration of diversity, this limited edition timepiece blends Bulova's exceptional craftsmanship and expertise in accessible luxury with Complecto's commitment to inclusion, resulting in a watch that embodies the values that drive both brands forward.
The Complecto Jet Star is limited to just 100 individually numbered pieces.
